I'd like to thank the folks at the Academy of Western Artists for naming me DJ of the Year for 2009. But more importantly, I would like to thank the artists, fellow DJs and fans who support this music. Join me seven days a week on SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio. Monday through Friday in Outlaw Country (SIRIUS channel 63/XM 12) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern, and at Willie’s Place (SIRIUS channel 64/XM 13) from 3 to 7 p.m. Eastern. You can also find me at Willie's Place, the "honky-tonk that never closes", on the weekends: Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern, and 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Don't forget my weekly show "Deep in the Heart of Texas with Dallas Wayne" celebrating all things Texas - musically and otherwise - every Saturday night from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Eastern in Outlaw Country .And be sure to check out what's happening on my tour schedule page before you go. New CD I'm pleased to say that my latest CD, I'll Take the Fifth, which was released on Smith Entertainment last Spring, climbed to Number One on the Roots Music Report's True Country Chart and spent 8 weeks in the Top Twenty on the Americana Music Chart . I had the privilege of working with some mighty fine pickers, songwriters and singers on this project; I hope you like it. You can buy an autographed copy from my gift shop, along with the 2005 release I’m Your Biggest Fan and my re-released Georgia Dreamin’ album from 1990.
